Paul A. Vanek appointed as Board Member of the Houston IIA Chapter for 2014-2015

HOUSTON, TEXAS (May 16, 2014) - Paul A. Vanek, Managing Member of The Vanek Consultancy Group, LLC, was appointed to the Board of Governors of the Houston Chapter of the IIA for the year 2014-2015.

"I am excited to have been appointed to this position, " said Mr. Vanek.  "It is a wonderful honor to be recognized by my peers in the Chapter.  I look forward to serving on the Board of Governors.  I believe that a person should give back to the community for the blessings received throughout life."  In addition to being on the Board of Governors, Mr. Vanek was appointed to the Corporate Governance Task Force.

 Mr. Vanek is also involved in other professional societies.  He is currently the Vice-President of the Houston CPA Society and a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Society of CPAs.
