HOUSTON, TEXAS (January 3, 2011) - Paul A. Vanek announced the formation of The Vanek Consultancy Group, LLC (Vanek Consultancy) - a Houston-based firm providing serve public and private middle market businesses by providing independent and confidential assistance to Senior and Middle Management and Boards of Directors with knowledge and experience in the areas of Transactions, Consulting and Staffing & Search.  The new firm offers services to numerous industries as providers of information, insight and ideas.

The Vanek Consultancy team brings decades of industry specialization, an understanding of business needs, and practical know-how to help clients during periods of expansion or integration.  Our advisors, consultants and professionals have decades of broad and diverse hands-on experience in strategic, operational, and financial management within industry and consulting organizations. They are highly-motivated team-players with proven interpersonal, leadership and creative problem-solving skills. Each are effective in team-building, accomplished in handling multiple/shifting priorities, and developing/implementing new ideas and different approaches. Additionally, our team is successful in operating in environments ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small privately-held companies.

Prior to launching Vanek Consultancy, Mr. Vanek was the Director of Practices for 2 practice areas (Accounting & Finance, and Enterprise Governance) of a national consulting and search firm for the Houston office; the President of a start-up art-based products company with full e-commerce capabilities; a Solutions Manager responsible for the complete management of the Advisory and Staffing Practices of two recruiting and temporary staffing firms; and was the Controller for a group of companies that provided management consulting, investment banking and information technology services; and an audit manager with a major accounting firm. Paul graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and holds CPA, CIA and CISA certifications.
